Ingredients: Pudina leaves 100 grams, coriander leaves 50 grams, 1 big onion sliced, 1 big tomato chopped, green peas 1/4 cup (fresh or frozen ), green chilli 3, cinnamon piece, cloves, whole cardamom, ginger garlic paste 1tsp, ghee 2 tbsps, oil 3 tbsps, salt to taste , 1 big glass basumathi rice & 2 big glass boiled water.
Method: Grind pudina, coriander leaves and green chilli into fine paste. Wash & drain rice. Heat ghee + oil in a frying pan. Add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom & fry a while. Then add sliced onion. When onions are transparent, add chopped tomatoes & green peas. Fry for 2 – 3 minutes. Then add ginger garlic paste pudina coriander paste. Salt, rice & 2 glass of hot water. Bring to boil. Cover & cook on low flame. Remove from flame when done. Enjoy with onion raitha.
