Ingredients: 25 golgappas, 1cup shevo, 1cup sweet chutney, 1 cup savoury chutney, 2 finely chopped onions, 3 – 4 boiled and mashed potatoes, few finely chopped coriander leaves, 1/2 cup dahi (yogurt)
Spread the golgappas (poori) over a plate. Top them with potato pieces, onions. Then spread a layer of sev, sweet n savoury chutney, coriander leaves and yogurt (dahi) & enjoy dahi sev puri
For sweet chutney: Tamarind lime size, few dates, 3 – 4 tsp powdered jaggery and salt to taste. Soak tamarind and dates in 3/4 cup of water for an hour. Squeeze and remove the seeds and fibre. Grind with salt and jaggery to a smooth paste.
Savoury/green chutney: 1 bunch coriander leaves, 4 green chillies, 1 tsp cumin seeds (roasted), 1 tsp tamarind paste, 1/4 tsp kala namak powder, 1/4 tsp salt. Put all the ingredients together and grind to a smooth paste adding very little water. Green chutney is ready.
