Ingredients: 1 cup palak, 2 cups whole wheat flour, 1/4 cup coriander leaves, 1/4 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp cumin seeds (roasted), 1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain), 2 green chillies, salt to taste, oil/butter and oil for deep frying.
Method: Boil water in a pan and add palak. Simmer for 3 to 5 minuets and cool. Grind coriander leaves, palak and green chillies to make a fine paste. Take a bowl, add wheat flour, ajwain, cumin, palak paste, chilli powder and 1 tbsp oil/butter and salt. Mix well and knead it to a smooth dough. And then make pooris. Same dough you can make paratas too. Serve with onion raita or potato bhaji.
