Ingredients: Paneer 250 grams, cooked or frozen peas 1 cup, tomatoes 2, onion 2, butter 1 tbsp, jeera 1 tsp, cloves 4, cinnamon 1 piece, ginger garlic paste 1 tsp, turmeric powder 1/2 tsp, coriander powder 1 tsp, red chilli powder 1 tsp, garam masala powder 1/2 tsp yogurt 1/4 cup,coriander leaves for garnishing and salt to taste.
Method: Cut paneer into cubes. Boil tomatoes and make puree. Grind onion into smooth paste. In a pan add butter and fry paneer into little golden colour and keep aside. In a same pan add oil, when hot add jeera, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom and fry for a little. Add onion paste and fry till the raw smell goes out. Add ginger, garlic paste and fry for a minute. Add tomato puree and cook for 2 minutes. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt. Saute till oil separates the sides of the pan. Add boiled peas and little water and cook for 2 more minutes. Then add yogurt, garam masala powder and fried paneer cubes. Boil for some more times. Then switch off the gas. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with pulkas or chapathis.
