Ingredients: Maida (all purpose flour), 1 cup, sugar 2 cups, ghee 3 – 4 tbsps, horlicks 1/2 cup (dissolved in water to make a paste) and 1/2 cup water.
Method: In a non stick kadai heat ghee and fry the maida on slow fire till it gives nice aroma and keep aside. In the same pan take sugar and water and stir till sugar dissolves and you get syrup of one string consistency. Now slowly add the maida and horlicks mix stirring constantly. Keep stirring till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan. Pour into greased thali and cut into desired shape when cool.
