Ingredients: Paneer 500 grams, finely chopped onions 2, finely chopped tomatoes 3, green chillies 4, ginger 1 inch piece, garlic cloves 8, white til 1 tsp, curry leaves few, turmeric powder 1/2 tsp, red chilli powder 1 tsp, coriander powder 1 tsp, garam masala powder 1 tsp, kasoori methi 1 tsp, milk 1/2 cup, butter 1 tbsp, cream 1/2 cup, lime juice 1/2 tsp, ghee 1 tbsp, salt to taste, mint leaves 2 tsps.
Method: Fry paneer cubes in to little oil till light brown. Grind tomatoes, ginger, garlic, green chillies and white til to a smooth paste. In a pan put ghee, when hot add onions and fry till light brown. Add curry leaves. Then add ground masala and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and then fry for few minutes. When oil separates from the pan, add paneer, coriander powder, garam masala powder and lime juice. Add milk, cream, kasoori methi and pudina leaves. Boil for another 2-3 minutes. Then switch off the gas. Garnish with kasoori methi.
