Ingredients: 1/4 cup turdal, 1 cup coconut gratings, 6 roasted red chillies, a little tamarind, 2 cups vegetable pieces (cucumber/magge), brinjal, drumstick, beans), 2 tbsps oil, 1 big onion (chopped),and salt to taste.

Method: Wash turdal and pre
ssure cook it. To the cooked dal add cut pieces of vegetables. When done add salt to taste. Grind coconut gratings with roasted red chillies and tamarind to a fine paste. Mix masala with the dal vegetable mixture. Add half of the chopped onion and mix well. Boil properly. Remove from flame. Seasoned with onion pan.
