Ingredients: 2 cups wheat flour, 2 cups sugar (powdered), 3/4 cup ghee, 10 grams raisins, 1 tbsps cardamom powder
Method: Pour 1 tsp ghee in frying pan. Fry raisins in it a little and keep aside. Pour the remaining ghee in to the pan. Roast wheat flour with it it it smells (for about 20 minutes). Add cardamom powder. Remove from flame. Mix powdered sugar and raisins with roasted flour (when it is cool). Shape small portions of the mixture in to laddus.
Besan laddu: Can also be prepared by the above method, using 1 and 1/2 cup wheat flour with 1/2 cup bengal gram flour, instead of2 cups wheat flour only.
