Ingredients: 1/4 kg beans, 2 tsps red chilli powder, 2 onions chopped, few curry leaves, 1 small piece jaggery, 1 tsp lime juice, 3 tbsps coconut gratings and salt to taste.
For seasoning: 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp Cumin (jeera) seeds, 1/4 tsp hing powder, 3 tbsps oil.
Method: Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. When it splutters add cumin seeds. Add curry leaves and chopped onions. When it becomes transparent add chopped beans and fry for a while. Then add jaggery, salt, lime juice, red chilli powder and 1/4 cups of water.cook till the beans are soft. Then add grated coconut and mix it well. Switch off the flame. Goes well with pooris and chapathis.
