Ingredients: Paneer 400 grams, green chillies 2, ginger 1 inch piece, garlic 8 cloves, butter 1/4 cup, bay leaves 2, pepper corns 8 – 10, cinnamon 2 inch stick, green cardamoms 5, cloves 10, tomato puree 2 cups, kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tbsp, garam masala powder 1 tsp, honey 2 tbsps, dried fenugreek leaves ( kasuri methi) 1 tsp, fresh cream 1 cup and salt to taste.
Method: Cut paneer into 1 inch cube.Chop green chillies. Grind ginger and garlic to a paste. Heat butter in a pan and add bay leaves, pepper corns, cinnamon, green cardamoms and cloves. Stir fry. Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Stir well and cook for two to three minutes. Add tomato puree, kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt and 1 & 1/2 cup of water. Bring to boil and cook on medium heat for seven to eight minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add honey and crushed kasuri methi. And mix well. Add paneer and cook on medium heat for 6 to 7 minutes. Whip fresh cream lightly and add to paneer. Cook for one or two minutes and serve hot.
