Ingredients: Prawns 250 gms, Dry mango powder or tamarind pulp 1 tbsp, garlic 6-7 cloves, green chillies 3, fresh coriander leaves 1 bunch, oil 2 tbsps, turmeric powder 1 tsp and salt to taste.
Method: Clean and devein the prawn. Add a little salt and keep it aside. Take fresh coriander leaves, garlic cloves, green chillies and make a paste. Soak tamarind in half cup of water. Add the juice of the tamarind to the fresh paste and keep it aside for 15-20 monutes. Add salt. Heat pan and add oil to it. Add prawns and let them cook. Once the oil starts leaving the sides of the pan, the dish is ready. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Best eaten with chapathis.
