Ingredients: 5 potatoes, 3 tomatoes, 8 short red chillies & 4 kumte chillies, 2 tbsps coconut gratings, 2 tsps coriander seeds, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 2 tbsps oil, few curry leaves and salt to taste.
Method: Wash potatoes, boil in water. Peel & cut in to small cubes. Wash tomatoes and chopped in to pieces. Fry red chillies & coriander seeds in a little oil & keep aside. Grind coconut gratings with fried red chillies & coriander seeds to a fine paste. Prepare seasoning in frying pan with mustard and curry leaves in oil. Add ground masala, tomatoes and little water. Boil well. Add potato pieces & salt to taste. Turn over. Bring to boil. When curry turns semi- solid, remove from flame.
