Ingredients: 1 pav black gram daal, 2 pav raw rice, oil for greasing cups and salt to taste.
Method: Soak black gram dal and raw rice separately in water for 2 hours. First wash the soaked dal and grind to a fine paste & keep aside in a vessel. Then grind the soaked rice to a coarse paste. Mix both the pastes using hands, add salt & keep under cover overnight. Next beat the batter well. Grease idli cups with oil & fill them with the idli batter and steam in an idli vessel for 20 minutes.
