Ingredients:2 pav raw rice, 1 pav black gram dal, oil for frying & salt to taste.

Method: Soak black gram dal along with raw rice in water for 2 hours. Wash, grind to a smooth paste. Add salt. Keep aside under cover overnight. Next day beat the batter well & prepare appo on hot appe pan smeared with oil.  Grease each depression with 1 tsp oil. Fill with batter. Fry lightly brown, turning over 2 – 3 times with a knife or fork.
