Ingredients: Half ash gourd, one and a half cup coconut gratings,1 tsp mustard seeds, 4 roasted red chillies, tamarind a small ball, 2 tbsps oil, few curry leaves & salt to taste.
Method: Skin ash gourd. Cut in to pieces of medium size. Wash and cook till tender. Add salt. Grind coconut gratings with roasted red chillies and tamarind. Before taking out the masala, add 1 tsp mustard and grind for a while. Mix d masala with cooked ash gourd pieces. Add some water & boil. Remove from flame. Season with mustard and curry leaves in oil.
